Season to Feature 24 Races, Including New Races in Las Vegas and Qatar
Monaco Grand Prix to Return to Traditional May Date
The FIA and Formula 1 have released the schedule for the 2024 season, featuring a record-breaking 24 races across four continents. The season will kick off with the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 2 and conclude with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 24.
The calendar includes several notable changes from the 2023 season. The Monaco Grand Prix will return to its traditional May date after being held in June in 2023. The Chinese Grand Prix will return to the calendar after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Two new races will be added to the calendar in 2024: the Las Vegas Grand Prix and the Qatar Grand Prix. The Las Vegas Grand Prix will be held on a Saturday night in November, while the Qatar Grand Prix will be held on a Sunday evening in October.
