Roberto De Zerbi: Brighton's new manager announced

Roberto De Zerbi has been appointed as Brighton's new head coach, the Premier League club have announced.

The 44-year-old Italian has signed a four-year contract with the Seagulls, replacing Graham Potter, who left to take over at Chelsea last week.

De Zerbi arrives at Brighton from Shakhtar Donetsk, where he won the Ukrainian Premier League title and Ukrainian Super Cup in 2022.

He previously managed Italian clubs Sassuolo and Benevento, and also had a spell in charge of the Ukrainian national team.
